Terms of Service

Effective date: October 15, 2026

Welcome to Ecom University. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Ecom University LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("Ecom University," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your use of ecomuniversity.com and its subdomains (including quiz.ecomuniversity.com and watch.ecomuniversity.com), our courses, communities, videos, quizzes, and any other products or services we offer (together, the "Services").

By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Please read Section 13 carefully. It contains a binding arbitration agreement and class action waiver that affect your legal rights.

The short version

  • Memberships are $97 a month, renew automatically, and you can cancel anytime. No refunds for time already paid for.

  • Our content is for your own learning and your own business. Do not copy, share, or resell it.

  • We teach skills. We do not promise income, jobs, or clients.

  • Be decent to other members. We can remove anyone who is not.

  • Disputes go to individual arbitration, not court, unless you opt out within 30 days.

The short version is a summary only. The full Terms below are what count.

1. Who can use the Services

You must be at least 18 years old to buy a membership or enter a paid community. If you are 13 to 17, you may use the free parts of the Services (such as the website, quiz, and public videos) with a parent or guardian's permission. Children under 13 may not use the Services. By using the Services, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that any information you give us is accurate.

2. Your account

Some parts of the Services require an account with us or with the platforms we use to deliver our communities (for example Whop or Skool). You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away at the contact address in Section 16 if you think your account has been accessed without permission.

You may not share, sell, or transfer your account or membership to anyone else.

3. Memberships, billing, and cancellation

Subscriptions. Access to our communities is sold as a recurring monthly subscription (currently $97 USD per month per community, unless a different price is shown at checkout). Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.

Payment. Payments are processed by third-party payment platforms (currently Whop and its payment processors). By purchasing, you authorize us and our payment platform to charge your payment method for the subscription price plus any applicable taxes at each renewal.

Price changes. We may change subscription prices. We will give you at least 14 days' notice by email or in-product message before a price change takes effect. If you do not agree to the new price, cancel before your next renewal.

Cancellation. You can cancel at any time through your Whop account settings (or the billing portal shown at checkout). Cancellation stops future charges. You keep access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.

Refunds. Because you get immediate access to digital content and a live community, subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by law or where we say otherwise in writing at the time of purchase. We do not prorate refunds for partial months.

Promo codes and discounts. Discount codes are single-use, non-transferable, have no cash value, and may expire or be withdrawn at any time.

Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may suspend or end your access until payment is made.

4. What you get, and what you don't

Membership gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the courses, videos, calls, templates, and community content included in your membership, for your own personal learning and for use in your own business.

You may not:

  • copy, record, download (unless we provide a download button), resell, share, or redistribute our content;

  • post our content in other communities, on social media, or on file-sharing sites;

  • use our content to build a competing course, community, or product;

  • use any automated tool to scrape or harvest content or member information.

All content, branding, course materials, and software on the Services are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. "Ecom University" and our logos are our trademarks. Nothing in these Terms gives you any ownership of our content.

5. Earnings and results disclaimer

Ecom University is an education company. We teach skills related to ecommerce, marketing, and online business. We do not guarantee that you will make money, get hired, land clients, or achieve any particular result.

Any income figures, case studies, testimonials, or examples we share are illustrative. They show what some people have done. They are not typical, not promises, and not a prediction of what you will earn. Your results depend on your effort, skills, experience, market conditions, and factors outside our control. Many people who buy educational products get little or no results.

Nothing we provide is financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. Talk to a qualified professional before making business or financial decisions.

6. Community rules

Our communities are hosted on third-party platforms such as Skool, Whop, and Discord. When you use those platforms you must also follow their terms. Inside our communities, you agree to:

  • be respectful; no harassment, hate, threats, or discrimination;

  • not spam, pitch, recruit, or sell to other members without our permission;

  • not share other members' personal information or private messages outside the community;

  • not post illegal, infringing, sexually explicit, or misleading content;

  • not impersonate Ecom University, our team, or other members.

We may remove content, mute, suspend, or remove any member at our discretion, with or without notice, if we believe they have broken these rules or are harming the community.

7. Content you post

You own what you post. By posting content in our communities or on the Services (for example questions, work samples, wins, or feedback), you give us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, display, and share that content in connection with running and promoting the Services. If you do not want something used in marketing, tell us and we will stop using it going forward.

You are responsible for what you post. Do not post anything you do not have the right to share.

8. Testimonials and marketing

If you give us a testimonial, review, or allow us to feature your results, you confirm it is truthful and based on your real experience, and you allow us to use your name, likeness, and words in our marketing. You can withdraw this permission for future use by contacting us.

9. Third-party services

The Services rely on third-party platforms, including Whop (checkout and community), Skool (community and courses), Discord, X, YouTube, and others. We do not control these platforms and are not responsible for their availability, content, or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

The Services may link to other websites or resources. We are not responsible for them.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break any law or infringe anyone's rights while using the Services;

  • interfere with or disrupt the Services, or try to access them in ways we have not authorized;

  • introduce viruses, bots, or other harmful code;

  • use the Services to send unsolicited messages;

  • misrepresent who you are or your affiliation with anyone.

11. Ending your access

You can stop using the Services and cancel your membership at any time. We may suspend or end your access at any time if you break these Terms, abuse our team or members, request a chargeback for content you have received, or if we stop offering the Services. If we end your access without cause, we will refund any prepaid fees for the unused part of your current billing period. Sections that by their nature should survive (including Sections 4, 5, 7, 12, 13, and 14) survive termination.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that content will be accurate or up to date.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Ecom University and its owners, team members, contractors, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or lost business opportunities, arising from or related to the Services, even if we were told they were possible.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

Some places do not allow some of these limits. In those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent the law allows.

13. Dispute resolution, arbitration, and class action waiver

Talk to us first. If you have a problem, email us at the address in Section 16. Most issues can be sorted out quickly. You agree to try to resolve any dispute informally for at least 30 days before starting formal proceedings.

Binding arbitration. If we cannot resolve it, you and Ecom University agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. The arbitrator may award the same remedies a court could, on an individual basis. Arbitration may be conducted by video or phone.

Exceptions. Either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either of us may seek an injunction in court to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property.

Class action waiver. You and Ecom University agree that claims may be brought only on an individual basis, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, consolidated, or representative action. The arbitrator may not combine claims of more than one person.

Opt-out. You can opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing us within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, with your name, the email on your account, and a clear statement that you want to opt out of arbitration. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.

Governing law and venue. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. For any matter not subject to arbitration, you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless (in plain terms, to cover the costs of) Ecom University and its owners, team members, and contractors from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Services, or your breach of these Terms.

15. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright, send a notice to the contact address in Section 16 with: your contact details, a description of the work, where the allegedly infringing material is located, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act, and your physical or electronic signature. We may remove content and terminate repeat infringers.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on the site and update the effective date, and where practical, email members. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree, cancel your membership and stop using the Services.

18. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a right, that is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them to a successor or affiliate. Notices to you may be sent to the email on your account. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, employment, or agency relationship between you and us.
